Lost My Tickets
- If you lose your ticket, please inform the JR ticket counter or a train staff. You will need to repurchase the same ticket (for the same route, train, and class) for re-issuance, and the ticket will be marked as “Re-issued for Loss”.
- At the station of your destination, obtain verification from the gate attendant for the re-purchased ticket, and be sure to keep that ticket safe.
- If the lost ticket is found within one year, please bring both the re-purchased ticket and the original ticket to any nearby JR station. They will process a refund for the re-purchased ticket.
- Please note that if the re-purchased ticket does not have the same route, train, and class as the original ticket, a refund may not be possible. Additionally, the refund amount may vary if the lost ticket was purchased with special deals.
